(...) of love (...) because of the foundation of the new forum, to Flavius Atilius Theodotus, of clarissimus rank, prefect of the treasury of the Roman people, legate of the province of Numidia. The council (ordo ) and people of Thubursicu, having set up the statue [and so] adding ornament to the work keeps this for the promoter of the convenience, with the generosity of Furius Reginus, priest in perpetuity, with most cheerful affection.
