Text: Coeliae Claudianae, / v(irgini) V(estali) maximae; / a diis electa merito; / sibi talem antistitem /(5) numen Vestae reservare / voluit. / Coelia Nerviana, soror, una / cum Pierio coniuge ac liberis / suis, orantes ut per tot(a) saecula /(10) facere dii permittant. Trans: To Coelia Claudiana, chief Vestal Virgin; selected by the gods deservedly; the divine spirit of Vesta (herself) wanted to keep such a high priestess for herself. Coelia Nerviana, her sister, together with her husband Pierius and their children (set this up), praying that the gods may allow (it) to do so for all ages.
