Text: Salvis dd(ominis) nn(ost)ris / Theodosio et Placido / Valentiniano, / p(er)p(etuis) Aauugg(ustis), /(5) Fl(avius) [Al]ẹxander Cresconius, / v(ir) c(larissimus), praef(ectus) ann(onae) urb(is) Rom(ae), / ad ornatum porticus / Placidianae posuit.

Trans: With our lords Theodosius [II] and Placidus Valentinianus, perpetual Augusti, being well, Flavius Alexander Cresconius, of clarissimus rank, prefect of the annona of Rome, placed [it] for the embellishment of the porticus Placidiana.
