Trans:
The school of the troops. To Flavius Marianus, of perfectissimus rank, commander of the fleet (praefectus classis) and curator of the city (res publica) of Misenum, who with arguments in our favour provided, restored and dedicated the wooden bridge which was for a long time collapsed and abandoned, and through which no one could pass; on account of his services, the most respectable council (ordo) to a worthy patron [set this up].
