Text: Valerio Frume/ntio, v(iro) p(erfectissimo), patro/no et defe(n)sori / (h)abitatori cibitatis (sic, for ‘civitatis’), /(5) qui pos(t) multum / temporis aeditio/nem (sic, for ‘editionem’) debotionis (sic, for ‘devotionis’) / renobabit et ite/rabit, pro meri/tu m[unifice]nti(a)e /(11) su(a)e, ordo cibes/que (sic, for ‘civesque’) Laurentum / LL(avinatium). Trans: To Valerius Frumentius, of perfectissimus rank, patron and protector (defensor) to [each] inhabitant of the city, who after a long period of time renewed and revived the performance of devotion; in merit of his munificence, the council and the citizens of Laurentum and Lavinium [set this up].
