Trans:
Statue to Autonius Iustinianus, the reluctant governor (praeses) of the province of Samnium; the whole multitude of the city had gathered so that he might accept it because of their common desire; the people of the city of Venafra set it up because of the merits by which, together with the most splendid ordo, he restored the status which was already fallen/destroyed, a contribution to the beauty of our times.
